Gameday Wings

Homemade Gameday Hot Wings

20 whole wings (Or 40 separated drums and/or flats)
3 bottles of beer (I used a really hoppy beer, Sweetwater's Motorboat)
3-4 Tbls hot sauce (or more to taste)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 bottle favorite hot wing sauce (or use recipe below to make from scratch)
About 1/2 gallon canola oil

Rinse wings and soak in beer and hot sauce overnight. Heat oil in stock pot over medium-high heat until oil is 375 degrees. Remove wings from beer mixture and pay dry with paper towels. Dredge in flour until covered completely. Shake off excess flour and add to hot oil. Fry about 8-10 minutes until cooked through. Drain on cooling rack over paper towels. While still hot, coat in wing sauce. Add extra hot sauce for super hot wings! Serve with celery, ranch or blue cheese dressing, and lots of paper towels!

For homemade wing sauce:
Combine 1 cup melted butter, 6-7 Tbls hot sauce and 2 ts garlic powder.
